We are continuously looking for talented people interested in working in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment to support our expanding group of customers both domestically and internationally. We are currently seeking an Application / Integration Engineer to work in our Product Development group and facilitate the successful design, development, and maintenance of software for specific SAP Fieldglass customers and suppliers.  This position is an on-site position and can be located out of our Sao Leopoldo office. The Application / Integration Engineer is responsible for requirements analysis, coordination between Developers (technical) and Internal Customers (non-technical), testing, and quickly resolving application and process issues utilizing analytical, technical, qualitative, and communicative skills. This individual will be expected to become an expert for all SAP Fieldglass application functionality, which includes a full understanding of the User Interface as well as from the backend database perspective. The Application / Integration Engineer will work daily with Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA, Development and DBA’s to resolve integration related issues as well as being involved in client related projects.

 

Responsibilities include:

Review, analyze and provide feedback on software requirements to non-technical stakeholders. Facilitate the common understanding of software requirements between those requesting the functionality and the developers coding it. Plan, schedule, and facilitate meetings between technical and non-technical teams to ensure mutual understanding of scope and requirements. Derive test cases from finalized requirements. Complete initial testing of software utilizing predetermined test cases prior to it being turned over to internal customers for further testing. Help create and maintain documentation of standard integration points between our application and our customers. Review and analyze complex SQL queries to ensure they function properly and efficiently. Troubleshoot SQL queries and their results against expected results. Serve as a liaison between the Development team, QA team and DBA’s and Professional Services Become an expert in all facets of the SAP Fieldglass’ proprietary services procurement application Participate on special projects and teams when required Take part in meetings as required Demonstrate an ability to be productive with minimal supervision, have a focus on service and the foresight to understand future impacts current changes may have on the SAP Fieldglass application and/or clients’ business processes

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 BA/BS MIS, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent industry work experience  Relevant work experience demonstrating a high level of knowledge of data integration between large cloud based commercial applications, SQL, relational databases, procurement systems, general business knowledge, requirements gathering, and software testing. Experience in very complex data extraction using SQL queries, real time integration, REST, FTP / SFTP Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions  Outstanding interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work closely with business and technical teams of all skill levels. Must be an effective communicator. Ability to react to customer needs and requests, through issue tracking, clearly setting priorities, quickly adjusting to client driven changes, firmly committing to tasks and meeting deadlines.  Ability to apply problem-solving techniques to application, environment, and data issues.  Results-oriented, self-motivated, and organized with the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously. Solid work ethic and dedication to producing high quality accurate work.

Fieldglass Application Knowledge SAP Procurement Suite Knowledge (S4/Hana, Ariba, Concur, etc) High level of SQL proficiency Requirements analysis and documentation Software Quality Assurance Relational Database (Hana, SQL Server, etc) General Knowledge of Cloud / SAAS computing platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc) Large scale integration projects between enterprise level systems (SAP S4/Hana, Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur, etc) Java/JavaScript code knowledge Web Services / REST APIs / Postman Scrum / Agile methodologies FTP / SFTP / FTPS
