Who You Are:
As a Senior APEX Developer at Oracle Local Government you will play a critical role in designing and implementing a suite of services that focus on user experience, performance, AI/ML, real-time event and data processing for Local Government customers. You will also be working with integrations against Oracle NetSuite, Oracle Identity Management, Oracle Customer Cloud Service and a variety of External Payment Portals.
Job Description:
Responsible for working with the team to develop and maintain the full stack web applications. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. Involve in SQL Query tuning and provide tuning recommendations to time/CPU consuming queries. Perform root cause analysis on failures. Resolve performance tuning related issues and queries. Collaborate with the engineering and product teams, contribute to the definition of specifications for new features, and own the development of those features. Define and implement web services. Guide the team regarding constraints and best practices in a web platform environment. Proactively identify and solve bottlenecks; fix bugs and performance issues. Maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Ensure testing strategy is followed within the team. Support the services you build in production. Resolve development / troubleshoot solution issues and get final delivery done according to time constraints Follow the SCRUM framework & methodologyMinimum Qualifications:
4+ years’ experience in Apex Development Oracle database or related SQL and Database Experience CI/CD (Jenkins and GitLab CI) REST Web Services Git version-control and collaboration (GitLab) Issue tracking and collaboration (Jira and Confluence) A systems thinker, able to move fluidly between high-level abstract thinking and detail-oriented implementation; open minded to new ideas, approaches, and possesses the technical ability to implement ideas Experience working with Agile development frameworks
Preferred Qualifications:
Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, and docker-compose) Cloud computing platform (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Services) Programming and scripting languages (Python, bash, Java Script) Experience in AI/ML JavaScript / Typescript. Experienced with ITIL V3, Foundation Level certified. Product/Service ownership or Project Management experience. Experience with PHP, Groovy, Java, Ansible, and/or Go
