As a Senior Analyst – Depositary Services, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), supporting the Supervisor in overseeing fund managers comply with the AIFM Directive (AIFMD), and ensuring adherence to CSSF regulatory frameworks and best practices.

Key responsibilities
AIFMD
Ensure AIFs and their Fund Managers comply with the AIFMD, CSSF Circulars, and internal procedures. Monitor and reconcile cash flows of investment accounts, ensuring accurate tracking of transactions and identifying any discrepancies. Perform safekeeping duties, verifying and documenting assets held by the AIF in strict alignment with established procedures and regulatory guidelines. Maintain ongoing oversight of fund activities, ensuring that capital calls, contributions, redemptions, investments, divestments, and share transactions comply with fund terms, legal agreements, and industry standards. Conduct transaction verification and analysis, ensuring all activities align with fund documentation, including Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), Shareholder Agreements, and Management Agreements.
Business Continuation and Development
Stay up to date with industry trends, particularly in relation to AIFMD and depositary services. Actively contribute to refining and improving operating procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance in collaboration with your Supervisor. Provide support to the Supervisor in commercial activities, including fostering and expanding internal and external relationships with clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Assist in knowledge transfer by mentoring and guiding junior team members.
Profile
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of alternative investment fund structures and regulatory frameworks.
Education: University or professional degree Business, Economics, Finance or Law. Professional Qualifications: A relevant certification such as ACCA, OEC, DSCG, or ACA is considered an asset. Language Skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages such as French or German are considered an asset. Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience in the fund industry preferably in depositary services, fund management, or a legal environment. Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of AIFMD, CSSF Circulars, SLAs, and fund structures. Technical Expertise Experience or affinity with investment strategies, financial instruments, and alternative investment vehicles is an advantage. Soft Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills to efficiently manage portfolios and deliverables. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders. A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a “can-do” attitude. A team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-performance environment. Quick learner, adaptable to new systems, and confident in handling regulatory requirements.
