The Sr. Analyst Cost Estimating will lead and manage all financial responsibilities related the development of Business Cases and Cost Analyses for product programs. You will work as a key member of a cross functional team, involved in activities like quoting new business, costing engineering changes, valuing make/buy scenarios and cost reduction opportunities. The position is responsible for monitoring and reporting the financial health of new programs until start of regular production.Job Description
Coordinate with other functions to develop a business case and quote for opportunitiesAssist Sales team in quote preparation and run various pricing / volume scenarios as requiredConduct various cost analysis, make vs buy studies and evaluate cost reduction initiatives for financial feasibilityAs part of the program launch team, participate in team meetings to remain up to date with program changesReport financial status of product programs at Program reviews with the management teamSupport plant finance develop Activity based cost models and manufacturing costs / ratesWork with different regions on customer, program, and product margin analysisActively contribute to departmental initiatives/process improvements to enhance the overall department’s effectivenessSupport ad-hoc quick cost analysis as per management requestAll other duties as assignedRequired Skills and Education
Bachelors Degree in Finance / Accounting / Engineering with knowledge of Costing processes5+ years of Experience working in Automotive industry3+ years of experience in handling business case studies preferably in Automotive3+ years of experience in MS ExcelPreferred Skills:
