Job Description
Primary function of this position is to provide business support to all areas within the Bartlett plant to include manufacturing and non- manufacturing departments, co-ordinate / participate in the month-end close process, ensure product cost integrity, support project accounting, inventory control and perform cost variance analysis.
Job Duties Perform daily/weekly/monthly KPI's. Productivity, Scrap, Work order variances, PPV Cycle count as well as cost centre expenses actual vs plan vs forecast. Develop implement and maintain the manufacturing management cost and inventory systems that will provide the proper financial tools with which to manage the business. Work with IT in designing and implementing changes to existing systems and/or new systems. Month end process to include timely and accurate accumulation preparation reconciliation to GL and interpretation of data used in financial reporting for the Repair sites. Provide finance support to all departments within Repair sites to include weekly review of expenses to plan / forecasts as well as month-end reviews. Review and evaluate capital expenditure requests for proper preparation and financial documentation. Track and communicate timely approval of CER and closure to fixed asset system. Coordinate the annual re-cost of manufacturing inventory. Cycle count inventory as required and assist with the year end audit including working with external auditors. Review and maintain product cost integrity through changes made via the EDC process. Coordinate and prepare the annual Bartlett facility budgets and quarterly forecast. Review and measurement of cost reduction initiatives proposed by the manufacturing departments. Project Accounting – Support set up/management of all project cost centres to include: Time/wage/benefit calculation and manual allocation by department and project. Train new employees on project accounting processes. Validate Accounts Payable and Purchasing expenses. Reconcile monthly Oracle project accounting expenses by account to Oracle General Ledger account balances and making necessary manual entries as needed to balance. Prepare and distribute a MTD and YTD reporting package by department and project Fixed Asset System – Timely closure of CER to fixed asset system. Review GL reconciliation to perpetual fixed asset system. Review internal systems are compliant to RCF policy. Support requirements from internal or external audit group. Perform special projects as needed including Lean manufacturing initiatives. All other essential related duties as required Job QualificationsRequired:
BA degree in finance is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience preferably in a medical manufacturing environment is required. Prefer experience / clear understanding of cost accounting principles and processes.
Preferred:
Excellent computer skills including ability to create spreadsheets and other reports in Excel Access and PowerPoint. Previous knowledge and experience with MRP/ERP systems. Oracle / Hyperion preferred.Why join Olympus?

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $90,749.00 - $122,511.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
