Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Analyst- Strategy Planning will oversee a portfolio of aircraft maintenance planning, leveraging data analytics and decision modeling to optimize operations. From assessing capacity environments to leading cross-functional projects, this role is integral to United’s long-term maintenance strategy.
Develop and implement long-term airframe maintenance plans.Conduct data mining, scenario forecasting, and modeling to minimize costs and enhance aircraft utilization.Perform cost-benefit and impact analyses to inform maintenance strategies.Track performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.Lead special projects for maintenance checks, modifications, and gear changes.Collaborate with senior management to present recommendations and insights.Find your future at United

Bachelors in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experienceAt least two years’ experience in using data analysis and quantitative modeling techniquesAt least one year experience in planning, strategy, or equivalent roleAdvanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
Master’s degree, MBA, or advanced studies in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.Experience in airline planning or analysis functions.Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Spotfire).Knowledge of SQL or other programming languages.Project Management or Lean Six Sigma certification.United values diverse experiences and perspectives, and we encourage everyone who meets the minimum qualifications to apply.
