Department Overview
The Reporting & Analytics team works with internal departments (e.g. Finance, Creative Services, Research and Data Services, Human Resources) in Bain offices across the world. Based in our Global Business Services office in Warsaw, our team provides our clients with the highest quality of reporting support.
The Role
The Senior Analyst Reporting & Analytics role is to provide the highest quality of reporting support to our clients. The Reporting & Analytics team focuses on cooperation with internal Bain CSS departments (e.g., Finance, Graphics, Information Services, Human Capital) and/or a subset of supported offices/clients.
Main responsibilities of Senior Analyst, Reporting & Analytics are preparing reports & dashboards in Tableau, as well as presentations, and other data visualization tools for our stakeholders. This person plays a key role in building GBS Reporting Centre of Excellence brand across our Global & Regional clients.
Responsibilities:
Reporting & Analytics Operations (85%)Developing new reporting tools with high degree of independence Working on complex projects involving multiple senior stakeholders and collaboration with other teams within Bain.Direct communication with clientsContribution to data architecture designTranslating existing Excel and Power Point reports into TableauMaintaining periodic reporting in Tableau and other toolsContribution to Bain reporting standards creation and GBS Reporting Centre of Excellence brandOptimizing the existing reports and finding new solutionsLearning and developing new reporting and visualisation toolsSharing best practices across the GBS Reporting teamAd hoc involvement in quality checks of other team members’ work when neededOperational Excellence and Innovation (15%)Seeks and reports possible process improvement and optimization and coordinates initiatives to achieve best in class Reporting & Analytics standardsSeeks opportunities for process standardization across regional officesIdentifies process automation opportunities based on team experience and across end-to-end processRequirements:
4-6 years of relevant experience in Reporting & Analytics domainHigh level of Tableau, Alteryx & Microsoft Excel proficiencyExperience in implementing automation solutions Knowledge of other data visualization or data prep tools or programming skills are a plusExperience in working with large databasesUniversity degree in a financial, business or quantitative field of studyFluent English (C1 level)Strong analytical mindset and attention to detailAssuming ownership of both new projects and recurring tasksExcellent communication skills – answer firstWe offer:
