Our Tax team is growing! Achievers is looking for a Senior Analyst, Global Tax to play a pivotal role in building out our internal tax function. The position will contribute to global taxation and transfer pricing. Specifically, you'll be responsible for Canadian and international income tax compliance and reporting, tax audit support, and special ad-hoc projects. The role requires a tax professional looking to advance their career in industry with the aptitude to learn and challenge themselves in a fast-paced environment. The role offers excellent development opportunities and exposure to global taxation and transfer pricing.
This role is hybrid and based in Liberty Village, TorontoWhat you'll do:Assist with the review of Canadian, U.S. federal and state, and international income tax returnsAssist with completion of consolidated tax provision under U.S. GAAPCompute and maintain quarterly transfer-pricing calculations and invoicing. Assist with updates to annual transfer-pricing documentation on various cross-border transactionsAssist with annual SRED and other ad hoc tax recovery projectsSupport tax audits from external auditors, various domestic and international tax authoritiesPrepare and facilitate legal entity quarterly tax installment calculations for Achievers’ group of companiesResponsible for the preparation and reconciliation of tax schedules including current tax payable and installment schedules for each legal entityAssist with short-term and long-term global cash tax forecastingDevelop and maintain tax control schedules & process documentationAssist ad hoc projects assigned including research of various tax topics, documentation of emerging tax related requirements or processes, preparation of tax models. Any other job-related duties and/or projects that may be assignedStay abreast of legislative changes in US, Canada, and key international jurisdictions that may impact the CompanyMaintain effective working relationships with other departments, business units, and external advisors.Qualifications we're looking for:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Tax and/or FinanceAt least 3 years of experience within Canadian and/or US Corporate Tax.
