Overview Position Summary: The Sr Analyst plays a key role in the client data onboarding process by developing effective business solutions that accurately stores data over time and allows the Data Operations group to build and improve the PHM media optimization methodology.  The variety of platforms and information available today requires careful planning and discipline to optimize performance at scale.  The agency environment provides a variety of situations that requires weighing multiple options to solve technical problems.   Key Responsibilities: Assist in leading information gathering and brainstorming sessions for business requirements definition Analyze, understand, and map complex system processes into user stories, data flows, and business system requirements Develop technical execution requirements based on specifications Monitor the original requirements throughout quality assurance testing and implementation to ensure that they are effectively delivered Review systems and report inefficiencies and improvement areas to the business process Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully and effectively Comfortable in developing options and present alternatives Have an eye on automation, while managing data warehouse file storage Data management functions including: Metadata management Capacity planning Query tuning ETL Maintain best practices for handling and storing client data Tools Utilized: SQL Server/SSIS/Visual Studio/Source Control Java/R/Perl/Python Cloud Technologies – AWS, Azure, Google Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in in Computer Information Systems, IT, Business, Marketing, or related field of study   Minimum 3 years of work experience in Information Technology Systems Analysis or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and how to write advanced SQL queries Strong knowledge of MS Office products, including Visio Experience working in a Software Development and support environment a plus Effective communicator within Analytics Department; individual must be comfortable communicating to a non-technical audience and with members of interdisciplinary teams Flexible/adaptable/approachable and willing to work in rapidly changing, and high delivery environment High attention to detail and ability to audit for data anomalies and trends Strong analytical ability and abstract thinking to be able to gather business requirements effectively and facilitates creation of the technical specifications Ability to independently investigate and resolve issues – critical thinker Understanding of API integrations and experience implementing; including REST/RESTful Knowledge of data security protocols for handling sensitive information Experience with Data Warehousing technologies, development and management Experience with Mongo, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Presto, Pig and NoSQL are a strong plus Additional information This is a Hybird role - requiring 3 days per week in office - Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
