About the opportunity
The Group Sustainability Office acts as a centre of excellence to enhance the positive and reduce any negative social, environmental, and economic impacts of our operations.
Working closely with the 'Manager, Sustainability Performance & Reporting', you will help to ensure timely and accurate reporting and messaging. You will be responsible for supporting the design, execution, and monitoring of Australia Post’s internal and external sustainability reporting obligations, in line with the Enterprise Strategy and Australia Post’s Sustainability Roadmap 2025.
The Senior Advisor, of Reporting Systems and Assurance, will use effective engagement, business understanding and subject-matter expertise to drive improvement of Australia Post’s sustainability reporting, data management, and governance processes.
What you’ll deliver with us
Internal data quality uplifts across a range of sustainability metricsPerform risk assessments for the design of internal control and governance across sustainability metricsCapturing content for annual reporting and relevant forums internally and externallySupporting the generation of insights, and implementing actions to drive continuous improvement in systems of reporting, data quality and sustainability performanceFacilitating and supporting external assurance activities, including supporting the basis of preparation development and governance controlsAbout you
You are a sustainability assurance expert with a deep understanding of reporting practices, data governance and data controls. You can effectively project management programs across a diverse range of stakeholders and interests.
What are we looking for?
Extensive experience conducting internal/external assurance activities Experience implementing data governance and control systems to improve data qualityUnderstanding of sustainability and compliance reporting, and interpretation of dataStrong Analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlinesExtensive experience in working with complex data sets using Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skillsetHow we’ll deliver for you
