Job Description

To provide specialised legal advice to the organisation and the Energy & Infrastructure (E&I) business on all complex internal and commercial contractual legal matters relating to the following E&I business products. This is with the intention of enabling the maximisation of revenue streams;  in accordance with the legal entity mandate and regulatory requirements.

Power projects including Renewable Energy projectsInfrastructure projects ranging from Roads, Rail, Water ProjectsOil & Gas financing – LNG, midstream, downstream including related Trade FinancingSovereign Funding; andECA backed funding

Minimum Qualifications

Type of Qualification: LLB

Field of Study: Law

Other Minimum Qualifications, Certifications or Professional Membership: Admitted Attorney

Experience Required

7-10 years PQE experience in the provision of guidance and insight pertaining to the drafting, vetting, review, dissemination and/or negotiation of legal documentation and processes of a complex nature. Identification and mitigation of legal risks.

3 - 4 years experience in structuring and negotiating project finance transactions, in energy and infrastructure financing, Public Private Partnerships with fair knowledge of the Export Credit financing.

At least 8 years' experience within the legal/financial sector.
