Senior Accounting Manager
Hiring an Accounting Manager! Opportunity to work for a global media company that has been a pioneer in the industry for over 100 years! This position will work closely with auditors, executives, and the accounting policy team to resolve complex accounting issues. Qualifications: + 7+ years of accounting experience + 3+ years of supervisory experience + CPA required + SAP experience required + Media Industry Experience Description + Lead month end close process and oversee review of complex entries and adjustments for the corporate accounting function + Oversee monthly accounting processes + Ability to understand and interpret accounting guidance and apply it effectively, including fair value and impairment guidance under US GAAP + Ensure financial controls are operating effectively including ownership of SOX controls relating to primarily, investments and transfer and servicing of financial assets + Provide accounting perspective and support to senior Finance and Accounting leaders including Corporate Executives, Segment CFOs, and Controllership SVP's and Executive Directors + Reinforcing the controllership culture through sponsorship and involvement in cross-department development and team-building programs Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX requirements + SAP Experience + Media Industry Experience + Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills + Investment and Sale Accounting Experience Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
