Senior Manager - Corporate Accounting

Job Description

The Senior Manager - Corporate Accounting is responsible for overseeing corporate financial reporting. This role supports the Corporate Controller in managing financial tasks, reporting, and compliance activities, including preparing financial statements, supervising accounting processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and aiding in strategic financial decision-making.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure the accurate and timely preparation of SEC filings, including Forms 8-K, 10-K, 10-Q, and 11-K. This includes coordinating both internal and external reviews of the documents and managing the day-to-day relationship with external auditors.Oversee accurate financial reporting for consolidated financial statements on a monthly basis and direct efficient month-end close processes.Collaborate closely with global finance leaders, site controllers, and functional leaders to ensure the accuracy of financial statements, compliance with policies, and internal controls.Drive balance sheet integrity through monthly balance sheet reviews, tracking reconciliation completion, promoting balance sheet literacy, and providing counsel on technical issues.Execute internal controls compliance, including Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, in partnership with IT. Evaluate and implement new controls as needed and work diligently to mitigate/remediate control weaknesses.Research technical accounting issues and provide appropriate and sound conclusions on topics such as restructuring, impairments, revenue recognition, leasing arrangements, implications of contract terms, and other complex accounting transactions.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the related field.Active CPA license with seven (7) years of related experience, including three to five (3-5) years in public accounting.Extensive financial management and financial reporting experience in a publicly held organization.ERP experience: JDE, Oracle, BlackLine.Technical Accounting Knowledge.Internal Controls Compliance.Management Experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsMaster’s degree or in pursuit of one is preferred.Experience in a global business is preferred.Experience with Big 4 or large public accounting firms.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
