Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general accounting, financial analysis, and reporting. This role involves active engagement with operating management, month-end close activities, and preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
ResponsibilitiesGeneral accounting for assigned product line including month-end close, review of physical inventory adjustments, journal entries, and financial statements review.Conduct analysis of monthly P&L, including commentary on significant variances.Engage actively with operating management to understand underlying business issues and ensure compliance with IFRS.Prepare monthly performance measures and balance sheet financial reporting.Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts.Participate in regular product line team meetings to understand key initiatives and business issues and develop relationships with team members.Prepare and present relevant financial data as required.Distribute monthly product line financial statements to operations and resolve any unusual items or questions.Prepare other business reporting and address ad-hoc business inquiries/requests.Prepare work papers and supporting schedules for mid-year and year-end audits, including tax requests.Assist with monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.Guide and support staff accountants as needed.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting3+ years of professional accounting experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office productsKnowledge of Hyperion and SAPFamiliarity with U.S. GAAPExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work under time constraints with a large and diverse group of internal customersPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
