**Overview**
Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial information presented to management in alignment with Publicis Groupe guidelines and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). By adhering to established procedures and standards, contribute to achieving organizational financial objectives.
**Responsibilities**
+ **Coordinate Accounting Transactions:** Collaborate with agencies and financial departments to ensure accurate recording of accounting transactions required for HFM reporting of financial statements for responsible entities. Proactively propose solutions and escalate queries as necessary.
+ **Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation:** Ensure a thorough review of balance sheet account reconciliations, particularly for U.S. assets, maintaining accuracy and consistency.
+ **Follow-up on Open Items:** Monitor open items and coordinate necessary adjustments in accounting processes to ensure no discrepancies remain without proper justification.
+ **Problem Resolution:** Investigate and analyze complex client issues to identify root causes, ensuring complete and timely resolutions, and proactively preventing future occurrences.
+ **Reporting & Analysis:** Assist management with the analysis and preparation of metric reports, financial reports, and other team-required documents to drive informed decision-making.
+ **Audit Leadership:** Lead both internal and external audit processes, ensuring complete operational controls are maintained, while providing accurate and timely information when requested.
+ **Project & Initiative Leadership:** Provide leadership and support on key projects and organizational initiatives such as system migrations, implementations, and regional support to drive business success.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Accounting or Finance studies.
+ Advanced English (oral and written skills).
+ At least 5 years in similar positions in a multinational organization.
+ Experience in the complete accounting cycle (preparation of financial reports, preparation and review of accounting entries, accounting support to clients, preparation of audits, analysis of balance sheet accounts).
+ Intermediate/Advanced Excel.
+ Accounting principles and practices IFRS/USGAAP – Advanced.
+ SAP/ Blackline/HFM knowledge is a plus.
