We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join my client who are market leaders in international logistics sector. You will manage the entire financial function and attend Exco and Director meetings to report on Financials. The position requires someone who is technically strong and thrives on accuracy and meeting deadlines, with experience in Sage 50, Pastel Payroll, and multi-currency management. Responsibilities:

Attend Exco and Director meetings every quarter to report on Financials Prepare and manage yearly submission  Prepare and manage monthly submission to SARS and VAT  Manage Workman’s Compensation annual submission Manage SLD and EE Submission Manage and run payroll monthly  Manage international bank reconciliations  Manage credit card processing to expense accounts Manage reconciliation of Supplier Accounts and Preparation of Month end Payments Manage and oversee cashflow projection Oversee facilitation of debtor’s collections Manage daily cashbook processing Manage loading of Payments both ZAR and US$ daily Manage daily receipting of US Receipts  Handle customer and supplier queries

Requirements:

Relevant tertiary degree, BCom Accounting  Experience with Pastel Payroll and Sage 50 Knowledge of API and or EDI of data to Sage 50 Must be deadline orientated
