Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Portland, OR. Essential Functions: * Senior Accountant will perform monthly close activities, including journal entries, reviewing manufacturing process orders, track labor and overhead absorption and reconciliations * Work with all locations, FP&A, and operations to build/consolidate and analyze departmental/function plans and forecasts * Query existing systems to extract data and develop reports * Prepare reports and presentations that summarize the Plant's financial/operations performance * Complete assigned monthly and annual reporting packages * As a Senior Accountant, you will administer company purchasing card expenses reporting/review * Oversee master files - creation and maintenance of new vendors, customers, and products; Confirming all controls processes have been followed * Assist with weekly/monthly GL and month end close process * Develop and/or streamline reporting processes * Analyze actual production costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
