Here at Job Corps, we are a federally funded program working with students ages 16-24, helping provide them free academic and career training along in a Residential school environment. This position leads the finance department of the center The schedule of this position is 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday The pay for this position is $60,000 annually. Position Summary Ensures that payroll systems, processes and deliverables are established and executed accurately, timely and in accordance with Company procedures. Analyzes systems and data and uses proper judgment and discretion to resolve issues and problems. Provides backup and assistance to Finance Manager to ensure that effective finance services are delivered to staff and students and financial reports are generated in compliance with GAAP and Company policies and procedures. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Manages and supervises finance staff. Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited school in Accounting or related field. Minimum of two years experience in business and accounting required. Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Suite of applications is required.
