Description
Shantel Poole with Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant. In the telecom industry, this role involves performing accounting duties under the direction of the Controller and handling various responsibilities relating to banking, cash flow, and month-end close procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handling cash flow management on a weekly basis.
• Assisting in the preparation of audit documentations in collaboration with the Controller.
• Facilitating the completion of supplier credit applications.
• Conducting bank reconciliations and acting as a backup for bank administration.
• Coordinating and/or completing reconciliations and accruals to assist with the month-end close process.
• Processing credit card payments as needed and reconciling all credit card statements.
• Sending AR/AP aging and borrowing base report to the bank on a monthly basis.
• Approving overhead invoices.
• Assisting with year-end and audit functions for 401k.
• Managing 401k year-end reporting.
• Reviewing cash flow positions with the Controller and performing a daily banking and cash flow analysis.

Requirements • The individual should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the accounting field, preferably within the Telecom Services industry.
• Proficiency in executing Month End Close processes is required for this role.
• Demonstrated skills in Cash Flow Management are necessary.
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is a critical requirement.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is mandatory.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent problem-solving skills are expected.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
• Holding a certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various departments and stakeholders are required.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is a must.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work are expected.
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and standards in the Telecom Services industry is a plus.
• The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information is required.
