Senior Accountant
Job Title: Accountant Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced high-level Accountant to join our team. This role requires a proactive individual who will support monthly, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting and a passion for process improvement and project work. Responsibilities + Support monthly, quarter-end, and year-end close related activities in a timely manner. + Prepare and ensure accurate journal entries, financial statements, and account reconciliations. + Reconcile sub-ledgers to general ledgers. + Work closely with business partners and support external related audits. + Develop process efficiencies and make improvements to assigned accounting processes. + Maintain appropriate internal controls. + Participate in ad-hoc tasks/projects as needed. Essential Skills + 4+ years of high-level accounting experience. + Proficiency in accounting, general ledger, month-end close, account reconciliations, and reporting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + 2+ years of manufacturing-industry experience. + 2+ years of experience with JDE or large ERP systems. + Experience in working on big initiatives/project-based settings such as M&A activity, finance transformations, PE owned companies, process improvements, and divestitures. Work Environment The candidate will be based out of the Bloomington office with hybrid flexibility, requiring 3 days a week on-site and 2 days working from home. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys project work and process improvements, as the organization is undergoing significant changes and bringing multiple functions back in-house. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00 Full Medical package, 401k, Sick pay and PTO package, profit sharing based upon PE sale. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Minneapolis,MN.
