Job Summary

This position assists the financial controller in overseeing the organization's financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. It plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data to arm management with information for decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities

Government reporting. Facilitate external audits and tax filings. Prepare journal entries and reconciliations. Disbursements Management – Process vendor obligations and respective payments, including intercompany. Facilitate brokerage by providing documentation of foreign purchases, assess accruals. Other Reporting – Prepare Ad Hoc reports and analyses as needed. Backup for Financial Controller. Other – Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA preferred. Five years' experience in accounting. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook. Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Adaptability and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Commitment to integrity and ethical conduct.

Office Setting: The role is primarily based in a professional office environment. Physical Demands: Requires extended periods of sitting and working at a desk or computer. Work Pace: Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that involves managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Stress Management: The position requires the ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining focus and efficiency. Flexibility: Flexibility in working hours is required, particularly during the month-end process, to meet critical deadlines and ensure smooth operations.
