Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Tampa, FL. Roles and Responsibilities: Revenue Management & Reporting: * Senior Accountant will oversee financials, including detailed tracking and reporting of revenue streams; This includes revenue breakdowns by food and beverage sales (via the POS system) and ticketing sales/admissions ("Roller") Full-Cycle Accounting: * Manage the complete accounting cycle, including preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations, income statements, and other key financial reports * Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in advance of closing periods Sales Tax & Labor Accruals: * Prepare and review sales tax reports, track labor accruals, and manage credit card receivables to ensure accurate financial tracking Cash Flow & Safe Deposits: * Manage cash flows and safe deposits, ensuring adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations and long-term financial stability Issue Resolution & Coordination: * Proactively identify financial issues and resolve them by reaching out to the appropriate stakeholders for necessary information * Work to resolve mapping issues and ensure accurate financial data tracking Collaboration & Communication: * Serve as the key financial contact for the unit, effectively communicating financial information to internal teams and other departments * Act as the -face- of the financial operations for Metro Lagoons, providing guidance and support as needed
