The Role and the Team

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced, high performing team in Sunnyvale, CA.  This individual will be an integral part of the accounting team.  This role will report to the Director, Accounting and have general ledger responsibilities including, but not limited to, Cash, Prepaids, Inventory, Accruals, Fixed Assets, and Month-end, Quarter-end and Year-end close procedures. In addition, there will be analysis and special projects as needed by upper management. The ideal candidate will have experience in all these areas. Job Requirements

Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures, i.e. journal entries and account reconciliationsOversee and manage day-to-day accounts receivable cash application in AR subledgerManage day to day Fixed Asset accounting, prepare global rollforward, participate in quarterly and annual physical count.Knowledge of inventory transactions and inventory analysis, including month end inventory count, reconciliation and roll forwardResponsible for various accruals at month end and assigned reconciliationsPrepare various balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis for management reportingAssist with KPI, metrics and analysis in various areas, including process analysis and system improvement projectsAssist with process improvement projects in process design, discovery, and testingProvide schedules as needed for audit and SOX

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting4 to 5 years of general accounting experience in industry and/or a public accounting firmStrong Excel skills requiredDemonstrate strong working knowledge of US GAAPStrong organization and verbal/communication skillsDetail-oriented with excellent analytical and prioritization skillsCPA preferred, but not requiredExperience with ERP (MS Dynamics D365) and FloQast is a plus

Base Pay Range: 93,730.00 - 147,290.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 74,550.00 - 117,150.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 66,640.00 - 104,720.00 USD
