ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Accountant will provide accounting support for the Marketing Department. This position will analyze spend, recommend opportunities to be more cost effective, and will support select areas of the annual forecast and project future spend. Additionally, this position will work closely with other members of the Business Management team as well as Marketing Officers, Directors and Managers to ensure financial best practices and contractual obligations are maintained.
This position reports into our Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis, MO with a hybrid schedule available (two days per week in office minimum for team collaboration, meetings, and training).

ResponsibilitiesWe are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:
Analyze monthly activity and assist with financial commitments, vendor spend, and research tax creditsTrain junior team members on select financial schedules and invoice processing protocolsAnalyze Marketing department spend and recommend opportunities to be more cost effectiveSupport select areas of the annual forecast and projection adjustments processDevelop ad hoc reports to analyze expensesIdentify and implement process and accounting schedule improvementsHelp develop and implement strong financial internal controls by balancing the costs and benefits of such controlsAssist with special projects and ad hoc reporting, including financial presentations and quarterly financial updates
