Volt is immediately hiring for Senior Accountant in San Diego, California (Remote)
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Candidates must be in the Central/ Pacific time zone

As a Senior Accountant you will:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPrepare routine and non-routine journal entries and adjustments to ensure proper recognition of accounts in support of the month-end close.\r\n\tPrepare and review monthly reconciliations of assigned accounts.\r\n\tPrepare intercompany journal entries and maintain intercompany ledger accounts.\r\n\tReview payrolls register and book payroll expenses.\r\n\tAssist in the development and documentation of key processes and controls.\r\n\tAssist in the budgeting and forecasting process.\r\n\tManage and maintain fixed asset schedules.\r\n\tManage and maintain capital project reports.\r\n\tReview cash entries and manage and maintain bank account reconciliation.\r\n\tMay assist in the preparation of technical accounting memos and narratives to support accounting treatment.\r\n\tPrepare year-end audit schedules in conjunction with the annual external audit.\r\n\tMaintain open lines of communication with stakeholders inside and outside the Finance department.\r\n\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSeveral years of progressive full cycle technical accounting experience, public accounting experience preferred\r\n\tKnowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).\r\n\tStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e vlookups, pivots, etc.)\r\n\tPossess excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment\r\n\tExperience with international transactions, including foreign exchange transactions and intercompany reconciliations\r\n\tAbility to work independently and demonstrate strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBachelor's degree in accounting\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour
\r\n\r\n*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
