Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our clients team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the organization’s financial goals. Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and general ledger accounts.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to meet deadlines and maintain financial accuracy.
• Collaborate with teams to manage accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks effectively.
• Utilize financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP to streamline accounting operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and assist in preparing financial statements.
• Monitor payroll processes and provide support as needed to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze data and create detailed financial reports.
• Maintain organized documentation and records to support audits and other financial reviews.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required.
• A minimum of three to five years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in general ledger management and financial statement preparation.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyze and present data effectively.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment while meeting strict deadlines.
