Position Summary:

A leading Insurance company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This position will work closely with other departments to manage various accounting responsibilities and focus heavily on projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead accounting-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and process automation.Oversees project timelines to ensure all deadlines are successfully met.Collaborate with IT teams to enhance financial systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and SOX requirements (if applicable).Serves as the primary accounting representative for projects, system implementations, and ongoing production support.Partner with cross-functional teams (finance, IT, operations) to optimize financial data management.Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, with a focus on system-driven efficiencies.

Qualifications:
