Senior Account Manager (Gas Products)
Innovate to solve the world's most important challengesSenior Account Manager (Gas Products) We have an opportunity for a Senior Account Manager (Gas Products) to join us at Honeywell, in either Scotland or Leicester, where you will be responsible to develop, drive and grow the Gas Distribution /Midstream/Upstream business in the assigned region/territory. You will be the primary owner of the orders quota for Gas Products and Solutions (Station & Skids, Regulators & Metering, Gas Quality). This is a remote role + up to 60% travel within UK & Ireland, and occasional travel to mainland Europe. Honeywell Honeywell Industrial Automation enables our customers to run safer and more efficient operations. Engage early in the buying process to understand and address customer needs effectively.Sales Strategy Management: Oversee daily operations and strategic direction for superior customer service, while balancing quarterly results with long-term account objectives. Identify new sales opportunities and provide consultative support to create valuable solutions for customers.Sales Campaign Leadership: Drive sales initiatives and strategic objectives for lines of business, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.Account Growth Planning: Strategically plan for long-term growth by conducting regular face-to-face meetings with current customers and actively pursuing new clients to expand the customer base.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Utilize and coordinate resources across the organization to align with customer initiatives. Guide interactions with customers through effective leadership and management of team efforts to pursue orders and satisfy customer requirements.Key Skills and QualificationsEducational and Industry Expertise: Possesses a university degree or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of gas metering systems, pressure controls, and UK gas industry processes. Extensive background in solution sales within the gas or process industry, with fiscal metering experience preferred.Executive Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at the executive level and navigate complex situations with political savvy. Experience in early customer engagement during the buying cycle and developing long-term strategic partnerships.Sales Strategy Development: Demonstrated experience in planning and executing sales strategies, campaigns, and programs tailored to specific markets or products. Skilled in utilizing market data for account management and growth.Leadership and Performance Standards: Capable of mentoring teams within a highly matrixed international organization. Possesses high performance standards, focusing on achieving results and monitoring progress against goals.Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Exhibits excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
