Edwards is searching for Account Manager/Senior Account Manager (hybrid role sales/training/OR support) who will be developing, managing the relationship with a defined list of large Edwards customers, looking to grow the business there.

Identifying, developing and closing new sales opportunities within portfolio of Critical Care Business Unit will be your major duty. You will be an expert on our products providing also regular training and support in OR. The territory covers the following regions: Salzburg, Innsbruck, Wels, Steyr. Home base in Salzburg or Innsbruck are highly preferred.


We are welcoming candidates having industry work experience and/or candidates having experience as ICU/anesthesia nurse willing to learn sales - we are ready to train you!


Key Responsibilities:

Serves as main point of contact within own business unit for assigned customer base utilizing full understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the businessBuilds and manages strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, referrers, surgeons and other influencers in assigned region to push Edwards positioning in the market utilizing creativity and influencing skills with new or existing customers on buying decisions using tact and diplomacyDevelops and closes new business opportunities with existing customers and identifies areas of improvement to meet sales targets while developing and executing annual plan to achieve region objectivesOther incidental duties

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in in related field, 3-5 years years experience of progressive sales experience preferredMedical devices experience required

Additional Skills:

Full knowledge of the strengths and limitations of own products and competitor productsDevelops deeper understanding of own business, medical devices industry and selling environment of own regionFull knowledge of customer organizations and how market environment impacts customersFull understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the businessAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environmentStrict attention to detailUnderstands customer needs, feedback and objections and explains products to influence customer perception of valueUtilizes creativity and influencing skills with new or existing customers on buying decisions using tact and diplomacy
