(Senior) Account Manager

We are seeking a talented individual to join Marsh Corporate & Commercial (C&C) Team. This role will be based in Shanghai / Guangzhou. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This role will be responsible for growing satisfied client relationships, a profitable book of business and acquiring new clients.

We will count on you to:

Secure and enhance existing client relationships while seeking new opportunities.Develop tailored solutions to meet the needs of clients and prospects.Ensure all services are priced and delivered adequately.Present solutions effectively to clients and prospects.Create business strategies for clients and prospects to achieve retention and sales targets.Collaborate with client advisors and consulting colleagues to create advisory solutions to clients.Manage revenue, profitability, and ensure timely service delivery and revenue collection for each client.Identify key decision-makers and assess the risks and needs of clients or prospects to determine the best service and product combinations.Document the service scope and compensation in a Client Service Agreement (CSA).Ensure service quality meets or exceeds client expectations and compliant with Marsh client service principles.Ensure deliverables are of high quality and delivery timelines are met.Gather feedback on Marsh’s project execution and renewal through client surveys and ongoing dialogue.Support the Practice Leader in achieving the team’s financial goals and independently meet personal sales targets.Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Practice Leader.

What you need to have: 

Understand business environment and know how to read/interpret financial statements.Questioning & Listening–Know how dialogue with prospects and clients Managing projects.Communications -Influencing, negotiating, presenting effectively, etc.Relationship Management – Customer focus, building rapport, dealing with conflict, etc.7+ years related work experiences.Bachelor’s degree in insurance or coming from financial/capital market/legal backgroundUnderstanding of property/casualty insurance principals and basic understanding on claim handling/procedures.Excellent oral and communication skills.Ability to independently conduct business and collaborate with colleagues in team operations.
