The Opportunity
As Application Developer you will be part of a business value-focused, high performing team supporting new program, customer initiatives, and maintenance of existing applications. Location is fully REMOTE.

Responsibilities
• Utilize .NET, DevExpress, JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5 to create and update applications, prototypes, and mockups. Demonstrate functional capabilities for customer review and approvals.
• Integrate .NET applications with the AWS infrastructure using the AWS SDK for .NET, using AWS Secret’s Manager, Amazon S3, Amazon SQS, and other services.
• Manage, document, and report on work through Jira, manage code repositories in Microsoft DevOps Server, or Bitbucket. Participate in Agile Methodology Scrums and work closely with the development and analysis teams.
• Work on development tasks that improve and help operate and maintain both public and internal facing platforms, including front end as well as back-end console applications.
• Work with and analyze large data sets when developing reporting and data analysis products.
• Conduct impact analysis for soft ware changes.
• Produce detailed specifications and write soft ware code utilizing .NET/C#.
• Conduct unit tests and document findings and support formal testing in controlled environment before code is promoted to production.
• Adhere to program configuration change control standards.

Qualification
• Solid experience using .NET, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, HTML5, Bootstrap, and .NET libraries (DevExpress a plus).
• Experience using the AWS SDK for .NET and the Amazon AWS platform.
• Experience developing applications which interact with large databases, process incoming data, and produce complex reports, using Oracle, Postgres, and/or Redshift .
• Experience in the development and consumption of APIs.
• Possess excellent communication skills and confident self-starter who works closely with analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements.
• Experience in developing engaging 508 compliant webpages/sites and compliance testing
• Ability to create visualizations based on analytical input and using large datasets
• Proficient in both front-end web development as well as back-end console application development using .NET/C# and Oracle database design and SQL.
• Ability to debug / trace code and resolve issues quickly.
• Requires technical knowledge of .NET programming typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• College degree and minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust.

Desired
• Experience in an environment where data analytics and machine leaning are part of the enterprise architecture.
• Certification in AWS.
• Experience in system administration, configuration, and security monitoring.
• Splunk, Seeker, Coverity, and Terraform experience a plus.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$89,500-$188,000
