Senior, Client Excellence & Markets - Pursuits
Looking for a professional who can support the Client Excellence & Markets - Pursuits group of the Audit & Assurance practice. Candidates would leverage strong problem solving, analysis, project management, communication, and writing and design skills. Seeking a quick learner who enjoys working across multiple teams, sharing new and innovative ideas, creating compelling content, and analyzing/synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data. Candidates should have intellectual curiosity, a strong sense of accountability, and a tenacious work ethic. Preference will be given to candidates who have an understanding of the audit marketplace, SEC filings, audit requirements, and business development/B2B sales in professional services (ideally, accounting and auditing). Would be expected to quickly understand the Audit & Assurance practice of Deloitte, the sales lifecycle of Audit & Assurance services, and the various data sources leveraged in supporting sales.
Work you'll do:
As a professional in Deloitte & Touche LLP, a subsidiary of the Deloitte US Firms, you will contribute to the growth and development of the Audit & Assurance practice in a variety of ways.
Key job responsibilities include:
+ Conduct regular quantitative and qualitative data analysis to identify and help create potential sales content and approaches
+ Assist in the collation, review, and syntheses of competitive intelligence from a variety of sources that help shape sales tactics, content, and messaging
+ Support the development and refinement of tools, resources, and content to support sales teams
+ Conduct quality assurance on a significant amount of sales content that is regularly updated/changed
+ Liaise with other stakeholders in managing sales content and keeping it up to date for broad usage across the business
+ Respond to ad-hoc, urgent requests as needed from sales teams and business leaders
+ Work with third-party data vendor(s) on key reports
+ Assist in the operation and administration of the Pursuits group's day-to-day activities
The team:
This position is part of a team of professionals focused on creating sales content and messaging, leading programs, deploying resources to support sales opportunities, and collecting and sharing intelligence to inform sales tactics that win new audit and assurance business for the firm. The team regularly interacts with partner leaders and audit practitioners in executing its mission as well as reports to firm leadership.
Qualifications
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree with a focus in Marketing, Communications, Business, English or a related business field
+ 2+ years of related professional experience
+ Advanced MS Office skills (deep familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint is critical)
+ Disciplined project management skills - ability to scope, plan, execute, and deliver projects
+ Understanding of business development concepts, strategies of professional services organizations, and different types of business structures
+ Strong analytical and research skills, including familiarity with secondary research databases such as Factiva, D&B Hoovers, Thomson One, Intelligize, and/or U.S. SEC EDGAR system
+ Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
+ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $69,400 to $142,600.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
