Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Semiconductor Equipment Engineer to oversee general facility operations, including the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of wafer fabrication equipment. The role also involves managing the overall Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) of the facility and performing Preventative Maintenance (PM) on key equipment such as cleanrooms, ESD workstations, and machine shops.
ResponsibilitiesOversee general facility operationsOversee installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of wafer fabrication equipmentManage and perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all key pieces of equipment including cleanrooms, ESD workstations, and machine shopsOversee overall Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) of the facilityManage consumable and non-consumable supplies for labs and cleanroomsCoordinate service vendors required for equipment repair and maintenance, consumable gases, HVAC, etc.Essential SkillsTroubleshootingEquipment engineeringCleanroom experiencePreventive maintenanceEquipment installation within cleanroomsExperience with Argon, Helium, and other gasesMaintenance of semiconductor equipment, vacuum systems, gas lines, wafer fabAdditional Skills & QualificationsAt least 5-7 years of facilities management experienceExperience maintaining plasma-assisted deposition and vacuum-based systems (preferred)Familiarity with working in a cleanroom environment (preferred)Familiarity with machine shop equipment, HVAC, electrical power requirements (preferred)Ability to create processes and procedures (preferred)Work Environment
This position is 100% on-site, Monday through Friday, with a 40-hour workweek plus potential for overtime. The work environment includes the use of cleanrooms and equipment related to semiconductor manufacturing.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $67.31
