Individual pay will be set in accordance with terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement._ **Responsibilities:** Under direct supervision receives and schedules request for messenger service, dispatches messengers and equipment, and keeps records of services rendered. **SCHEDULE:** + D/E/N; PRIMARY NIGHTS; WKNDS/HOLS **SUPERVISION AND DIRECTION RECEIVED:** + Supervised by departmental supervisor. **SUPERVISION AND DIRECTION EXERCISED:** + None. In the absence of supervisors, directs the activities of departmental support staff. **MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED:** + Standard office equipment, paging system and related departmental equipment. **TYPICAL DUTIES:** + Directs and guides the flow of work to the Transport Assistants by receiving and scheduling request for service and equipment. + Dispatches equipment. + Keeps dispatch board current for effective utilization of staff. + Keeps records of services rendered.
