Local/Hub Business Unit Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead marketing and sales activities related to products, systems, and services within the defined industry segments, for the assigned area. Each day, you will ensure that the division and related sales units substantially improve their sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the selected market segments. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and implementing a market-based strategy including direct, third party, and project sales and enhancing cross-division and cross-region business-led collaborations for the specific market segment. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-HybridGlobal relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.This role contributes to the Motion Business Area in Mobile e-Power (EV Products) and Traction solutions, including traction inverters and motors, auxiliary converters, ESS, etc., in Mexico.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tLeading the segment team members and reinforces global sales efficiency and performance.•\tBuilding relationships with key external influencers/key customers and leverages ABB’s strengths to capture new business opportunities.•\tDriving and ensuring knowledge sharing and cross-division and cross-country collaborations.•\tActivating operation intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis to identify industry segment trends, practices, product gaps, competitor strategy, etc.Our team dynamicsYou will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

\tYou have a Bachelor´s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering or related.\tYou have 5+ years of proven knowledge/experience of Transportation Systems Manufacturing (trains, heavy trucks, buses) and Electrical Storage Systems used in this segment (Battery banks).\tYou possess knowledge in channel development and collaboration with sales.\tA good understanding on internal and external market trend and solutions linked to ABB Traction is desirable.\tIf you are related to transportation end users and operators is a plus.\tYou have demonstrated experience in management of customer accounts and sales strategy.\tYou are easy to communicate in English and Spanish in an advance level.\tYou have a collaborative, solution-focused approach.
