About The Role:

The Leader is responsible for the overall revenue growth and people development of the COMPLEX BENEFITS Segment that includes the financial performance, personnel management, and the retention of an assigned book of business in accordance with the objectives and procedures of the Mid-Atlantic Platform.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading COMPLEX BENEFITS Segment strategic planning and overseeing key quarterly initiatives primarily focused on growth.  

Responsible for the COMPLEX BENEFITS Segment’s organic growth/top line revenue objectives by proactively engaging with Client Advisors in prospect pipeline activities and executing on client retention strategies.  

Adopts COMPLEX BENEFITS Segment Auris utilization to engage with Client Advisors, Account Executives, Service Team, and Acrisure resources to cross-sell other lines of coverage to existing clients.

Proactively oversees the COMPLEX BENEFITS Segment’s talent resources by engaging with MidAtlantic & COMPLEX BENEFITS Segment people leaders who manage and coach team members’ career development and path.

Coordinates with Acrisure MidAtlantic Human Resources and Segment people leaders on personnel issues, hiring, and successfully onboarding new employees.

Partners with the Head of Finance to budget and proactively manage the COMPLEX BENEFITS Segment’s financial objectives.

Partners with the Head of Growth, Marketing and Communications to develop, promote and educate COMPLEX BENEFITS Segment clients and prospects.

Assigns and oversees a COMPLEX BENEFITS Segment specific training coordinator(s) to work with Acrisure resources to enhance the team’s technical expertise, client presentation and communication skills in support of the Segment’s value proposition. 

Effectively communicate prospect/client experience updates/issues with the Service Team, Client Advisors, and Mid-Atlantic Leadership.

R&D of new COMPLEX BENEFITS Segment products and expanded services

Be the “face” of the COMPLEX BENEFITS Segment to Acrisure, clients, prospects and industry peers.

Be a continuous student of the industry and the risks faced by the clients by understanding their business model, what is important to them and their bottom line.

Requirements:

10+ years of relevant Segment experience.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.

Professional designation - CIC, ARM, and/or CPCU- preferred.

Licensed in property and casualty insurance a must.

Strong business acumen to provide strategic and financial planning for the Practice Group’s performance.

Ability to review, analyze and effectively use financial reports as decision-making tools.

Ability to direct, manage and hire as needed for their Practice Group.

Problem-solver with the ability to drive value and provide solutions to clients and stakeholders.

Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy.

Excellent phone etiquette, written & verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated superior presentation and relationship skills in this highly client interactive role.

Able to work effectively in a team environment with strong customer service and management skills.

Ability to travel as needed.

Experience with a broker/agent, including marketing large middle market accounts to carriers.

Knowledge of MS Office Products, Word, Outlook and strong Excel skills/knowledge.
