The role also involves supporting SOC operations through various activities, including vulnerability management and cyber threat intelligence. _Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance._ Rate: $26 - $36 / hr. w2 **Responsibilities:** + Monitor security alerts and events to identify potential threats and anomalies. + Analyze security incidents to determine the appropriate response actions and mitigate risks. + Collaborate with IT and security teams to resolve security issues and enhance security posture. + Maintain and update security monitoring tools and systems to ensure optimal performance. + Provide support for SOC operations, including: + Monitoring and Analysis Support + Cyber Threat Intelligence Support + Vulnerability Assessment Support + Incident Assessment and Response Support **Experience Requirements:** + Proficient in threat monitoring, analysis, and incident response. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and address security threats. + Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. + Familiarity with vulnerability management and cyber threat intelligence. + 3-5 years of experience **Education Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. + CompTIA Security+ certification. _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
