This is a Security Operation Center Officer position. Previous experience in Dispatching, CCTV/Alarm monitoring, Computer analysis or other heavy communication, computer, or similiar type industry experience often translates well into these type of roles.

 

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor all Electronic Security Programs including Access Control Systems, CCTV Camera Systems, and Alarm Systems Maintain friendly and professional relationship with owners, managers, coworkers, customers, and vendors.  Maintain valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, current vehicle insurance, and current vehicle registration in order to utilize company assigned vehicles if required. Maintain and comply with regular and predictable attendance and punctuality standards. Perform tasks outlined in SOP such as but not limited to (patrols, escorts, DARs, emergency procedures, and more.) Responsible for reporting any incidents to Management (damage to buildings, potential break-ins, injuries, etc.) and completing all documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Responsible for learning and complying with ALL company policies, guidelines, policies, and instructions in the Standard Operating Procedures manual (SOP), Supervisor One Page Post Orders, and The Security Officers Handbook. Responsible for accurately completing the Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, as needed

 

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to details  Excellent customer service  Proficient in Microsoft office Time management  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma CPR/AED/First Aid certified (preferred) Military or law enforcement (preferred) Minimum one-year corporate security experience (preferred) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting, walking, climbing stairs, and driving. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times. OTHER DUTIES:
