Core responsibilities will include:Conducting watchperson rounds of university buildings and areas to ensure the safety and security of the campus, the assigned sector, and its occupants/usersReporting suspicious activity, persons, and conditions immediatelyProviding escorts to students, staff, and faculty membersProviding general assistance to campus police officersProviding general information to university personnel and visitorsPerforming foot patrol on campus grounds in all weather conditions and temperatures

Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredPrior work experience in a security-related role preferred

Requirements:Successful Background CheckPA Child Protection Clearances (Act 153)Fitness for duty assessment and pre-employment medical exam, including drug and alcohol screening

Additional information:

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position based in Pittsburgh, PA.Sponsorship: Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work for CMU in the United States. CMU will not sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this opportunity
