The Signia by Hilton San Jose, a premium full-service property with over 541 guest rooms is looking for their next part time Security Officer.  Across the street from Plaza de César Chávez Park and within walking distance of the San Jose Convention Center, Signia by Hilton San Jose offers a prime location in the capital of Silicon Valley. Setting the stage for a new class of business travel, you’ll find over 55,000 sq. ft. of meeting and function space.

A Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

\n

Schedule: Open availability required. Must be available weekends, nights and holidays.

\n

Wage: The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location

\n

What will I be doing?

\n

 

\n

As a Security Officer, you would be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nPatrol the interior of and the perimeter of the hotel and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions\nRespond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property\nPromote safe work practices\nInitiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed\nWrites reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed\nRespond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner\n
