Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of an Armed Security for Correction Institute in Taylorsville, NC.

Starting Base Pay:

Supervisor $28 / Hour

Guard $21 / Hour

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experienceLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.Must be able to obtain a NC Armed Private Protective Services security registrationMust be licensed to possess and carry a pistol of 9mm or higher, while performing dutiesMust successfully complete a physical agility test including:Run 1-1/2 mile run (within 17 minutes 30 seconds)Pushups within designated timeframePossess a valid driver’s license in good standing for last 3 years As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
