Responsibilities Directs planning, programming and budgeting efforts to implement long- and short-range programs and projects. Plans, organizes and directs the personnel and activities of the Security and Certification Department through subordinate supervisory personnel. Assigns work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets, adjusts priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Researches and evaluates physical security systems capable of minimizing systemic vulnerabilities. Serves as the technical authority for planning, implementing and evaluating procedures designed to protect agency personnel and property from hostile intelligence and terrorist activity. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: experience with developing security plans, policies, criteria, guidance, methodology and techniques for worldwide implementation throughout the Agency and other services organizations.
