G4S Secure Solutions (Ire) are currently recruiting for Security Officers for our clients cruise liner season, based in Bantry. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, and fully flexible to cover Monday-Sunday, days only.

*This opportunity is part time, (full time hours available)  4 month fixed term contract with a view to go permanent, anticipated start date May 2025, anticipated end date September 2025.*

 

Due to the location of this role, and the shift start times own transportation is required.

 

Basic Pay €14.50 per hour, Sunday Premium +€3.44 per hour, + Bank Holiday, Unsoicable Hours & Overtime Rates Paid.

What You’ll Do:

 

Monitor and patrol assigned areas of the cruise ship and port facilities to ensure a safe environment for all.Conduct security screenings and manage access control to sensitive areas.Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, including medical situations, disturbances, and security breaches.Provide exceptional customer service to guests while maintaining a professional demeanor.Report and document all incidents accurately and timely.

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

Previous experience in security is an advantage or related fields preferred.Strong observational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays.

 

Must have the following requirements:

Current Valid PSA Static Security licenceFluent English essential1 year experience required5 years of verifiable work and personal historyGood customer service skillsExcellent written and attention to detail skills are essentialExceptional IT Skills
