Apply all safety and security procedures, be alert and vigilant when patrolling, and take necessary action in emergency situations.
Special Requirement:
Previous hotel and resort security experience preferred.
2. Should be physically fit to patrol long distances.
3 Able to read, speak and write English.
4 Able to formulate and present a comprehensive report.
5 Basic computer knowledge.
6 Sharp eye for details
7 Swimming skills prefered
8 Experienced in CPR, first aid and crowd control.
9 Able to cooperate and work as a team player.
10 Experienced in Safety and Fire Fighting.
Major Responsibilities
Maintaining all the log books, records and formulating relevant reports in the
security department.
Answering telephone calls, monitoring CCTV system and the fire alarm system, taking action as necessary.
Actively taking part in fire drills.
Keeping the guest room` information confidential, following up with guest room procedures, dealing with VIPs.
Respond according to procedures in any emergency situation.
Patrol the resort and confront any person or situation identified as a threat that requires investigation.
Detecting and removing safety or fire hazards in the resort and inform the relevant department.
Perform other duties as assigned by the resort management.
Inspect all the fire and safety equipment throughout resort eg. fire extinguishers etc.
Control all guest and staff movements throughout the resort by applying appropriate procedures and customer skills.
Conduct regular checks in housekeeping maid stations that supply villas and residences.
Check all the door/window locks and lights in heart of house, F&B outlets, Spa, Gym, Library, Kids for All Seasons Club, Pool Areas, Water Sport pavilion, Retail outlets and other areas as assigned, during and after working hours.
Report water leakages or blackout and other technical deficiencies to Engineering.
Record and monitor all vehicle movements to the resort.
Coordinate deliveries and safe fuel unloading
Apply lost and found procedure.
Check the working condition of emergency lighting (ie torches, lamps), touring data readers and other security equipments.
Checking of all staff bags contents and pass-outs as when staff are leaving the premises.
Monitor the staff shuttle service.
Check buggy licenses and control the traffic.
Control unauthorized entries to resort by sea, beach access and through jungle.
Anticipate and prevent situations that could jeopardize the reputation of the resort.
Assist the hotel staff in handling of unusual guest or employee problems, such as, but not limited to, disorderly conduct, thefts, guest or employee accidents, fire or safety hazards.
Open store rooms in emergencies if required by department managers and
signing storeroom request form accordingly.
Issue passes and keeping records of visitors and construction workers.
Manage issuing of keys according to the master key control procedure
Strictly follow the gate pass system for the removal of resort property with the authorized signature only,
Welcome guests at the main gate using the SERVICE culture
Patrol and follow procedures while working in the employee housing complex
Specific Responsibilities and Task
Assist guests and staff in emergencies, ie fire, flood or evacuation
2. In case of emergency situation inform the security control room immediately.
