We have an exciting opportunity for aSecurity Officerto join UGL in providing high quality security services in accordance with site policies and procedures to our client based on a critical site and business with a long-term future in the Ipswich region. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for all tasks related to security and access control along with supporting in administrative tasks. This role is suitable to those who are in the Ipswich area / surrounds and will be engaged on a casual basis with ongoing work available. With the retirement of the current Security Supervisor later this year, there is an opportunity to move into this role for the right person.

To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:

Current Qld Security License (Both Unarmed and Monitoring)Current Applied First Aid Certificate and CPR CertificateCurrent Queensland Driver’s LicenseConstruction Industry White / Blue CardCompetent computer skillsThe ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nightshift and weekends Proven experience with administrative tasksAdvanced customer service skillsThe ability to make sound judgement callsThe ability to work both in a team as well as autonomously.
