Who We’re Looking For

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Technology team is looking for a highly motivated person to fill a role as a Security Engineer, Lead.

The primary responsibility of this role is to be a subject matter expert for the security engineering team and provide design, configuration, and maintenance operations to the Security Platforms used by the Security Teams.

What you’ll be doing

Design, test, and implement security configurations to meet controls within Security PlatformsParticipate, guide, and intake and requirements discussions with other engineers and stakeholdersTroubleshoot and respond to security platform errors or incidents that have been escalatedIdentify and improve processes through automation or system configuration changesInfluence current and future technology decisions with management and other stakeholdersMaintain an active awareness of cyber threats, countermeasure technologies, and industry trendsDevelop and maintain security engineering documentation including architectural diagrams, configurations, and support materialsConduct and participate in security training and knowledge sharing to grow team skills and talentsSupport Incident Response activities, as needed

What You Bring

At least 3 years of experience in Cyber Security technologies, with a focus on selecting, designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls in an enterprise environmentProficient in administering at least 3 of the following security technologies including but not limited to EDR, SIEM, UEBA, SOAR, etc.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and resolve incidents with effective solutionsWorking knowledge of Cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems, and networking principlesProficient knowledge of the threat landscape and security controls used to defend the enterpriseA positive attitude and a customer service-oriented mindsetStrong verbal and written abilities to engage with technical and non-technical resourcesStrong documentation skillsHighly organized and detail orientedSelf-motivated personality who can work independently and in team settings with minimal direction or guidance

Added bonus if you have  

Cyber Security relevant certifications including CISSP, CEH, CCSP, or similarStrong understanding of cyber security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.Experience with developing and implementing Cyber Security policies and standardsKnowledge of Cyber Security regulations and lawsCyber Incident Response experience
