Security Director Assistant
**Job Type:** Full-Time **Scheduling:** Monday-Friday 0745-1615 Hrs. (Hours may vary depending on client demand) **Hourly Rate** : $28-$30 **About the Role:** Seeking a highly skilled **Assistant to the Director of Security** to support the oversight of security operations across multiple locations. This role requires a proactive professional with strong computer skills, the ability to analyze security data, and a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate will assist in managing security protocols, scheduling, payroll, coordinating with security team and external vendors. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist the Director of Security in overseeing security operations across multiple sites. + Utilize advanced computer skills to monitor security systems, manage access control software, and analyze security reports. + Ensure the protection of company staff, guests, and assets through diligent monitoring of the access control system, CCTV, and dispatch control room. + Maintain self-appearance to a high standard daily; neatly groomed and clean uniform required. + Write detailed incident/condition reports to send to upper management teams is expected. + Support emergency response planning and crisis response. Having the ability to stay composed in unpredictable circumstances is a must. + Ability to monitor special events, security incidents, disasters, and other crises. + Execute intelligent decisions in a manner that reflects maturity, patience, intelligence, and a cogent interpretation of all meaningful information. **Qualifications, Abilities, and Skills:** + Proven experience in a security-related field, administrative support, and a role requiring advanced computer skills. + Strong computer proficiency, including experience with security software, access control systems, CCTV monitoring and technology. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, security-related applications, and management. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. + Excellent organizational, communication, multitasking, and strong time management, and detail capabilities. + Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. + Experience in security operations and maintaining control of multiple sites. + Flexibility to work non- traditional schedules including holidays, nights, and weekends to adapt to our 24/7 operation. **Minimum Qualifications:** + High School degree + 1+ years of experience in security dispatch operations. + Ability to stay on your feet for extended periods of time. + Understanding of how to evaluate information sources for accuracy and reliability + Guard Card **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with security management systems (CCTV Software, LENEL Alarm monitoring, access control software). + Background in working in a high intensity atmosphere. + Outstanding personal character, integrity, and professional demeanor + Provide outstanding dedicated customer service **WORKING CONDITIONS (Physical/Mental Demands)** With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions. In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include: + Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations. + May be exposed to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals who are in or approaching an unauthorized area. + Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey, in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements. + Directing and disciplining staff in a positive manner. + May be required to work overtime without advance notice. + Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. + Keyboarding, basic computer usage, and operating controls. + Seeing, hearing, speaking and writing clearly in order to communicate with employees and clients, observe and report incidents, and direct others. + Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. + Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. + Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. + Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. + Regular use of vehicle for the performance of duties. + On occasion may be required to perform stressful and physical activity. + Depending upon assignment may be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective gear and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others. + May be exposed to or required to handle sensitive and confidential information.
