JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Security Architecture Associate to join the Information Security team at FOX. In this role, you will have an integral role in the wide range of properties and work at Fox–from protecting the integrity of our best-in-class broadcast operation centers to supporting our teams in building secure, resilient digital products used at scale. You will work closely with departments across FOX and its partners to review, design, and enhance security architectures that are resilient to today’s sophisticated cyber threats.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role will be focused on supporting diverse FOX technology teams in their Security Architecture needs under the umbrella of Information Security. A core focus for the Security Architecture Associate role will be driving understanding of security considerations for both 3rd party and in-house developed technology products. In this role, you will support unique services to enable the business to move swiftly, securely and with an innovative spirit. We are dedicated to modernizing security. This position will interact with teams across all FOX business units, to document, design, and discover security gaps and assist with creating remediation plans to ensure a standard of security across the board.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Support vulnerability management programs to identify and facilitate remediation of potential weaknesses in our systemsOversee attack surface management, ensuring comprehensive visibility and control over our digital assetsDevelop robust cloud security strategies to secure our cloud-based environments, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS) modelsPerform security architecture reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of security systems and propose enhancementsAssess and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain and third-party engagements through diligent risk assessments and policy developmentSupport the application security and DevSecOps teams by integrating security practices into development and operational workflows

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Professional, full-time work experienceExperience in a cybersecurity role with exposure to security architecture, or in a technology/technical roleSecurity+, or equivalent foundational cybersecurity skill certificationDemonstrated experience in at least one of the core responsibilities: vulnerability management, attack surface management, cloud security, supply chain security, third-party risk assessments, or system architectureFamiliarity with basic application, system, and technology componentsBasic understanding of security frameworks, compliance requirements, and industry best practicesBasic knowledge of various operating systems, databases, cloud environments, and development toolsAwareness of tools and technologies supporting information securityExcellent problem-solving and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across teamsAbility to map business objectives to technical requirementsExperience executing projects across multiple and/or disparate organizational groups

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

Direct experience applying information security/security architecture principles, requirements, and best practices within an organizationRelevant certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CEH, or cloud-specific accreditations like AWS Certified Security - SpecialtyNetwork/cloud engineering or system/application development roleExperience or familiarity with broadcast and/or OTT media services and technologiesKnowledge of various operating systems, databases, cloud environments, and secure coding practicesAbility to evaluate application requirements and make architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning applications on various technology platformsAbility to provide best practice guidance on the architectural design across multiple applications and projects of the enterprise as well as an ability to map business objectives to application/architecture requirements

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $106,000.00-158,500.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
