Position Overview:\n
As a Security Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's information security architecture. You will be responsible for developing and implementing security solutions that protect the organization's systems, networks, and data from potential threats. Additionally, you will collaborate with other IT professionals and stakeholders to ensure that security measures are integrated seamlessly into the overall technology infrastructure.\n
Essential Functions, Duties & Accountabilities:\n
Security Design and Planning\n\nDevelop and implement comprehensive security architectures that address the organization's current and future security needs.\nEvaluate and assess existing security systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend enhancements.\nCollaborate with other IT teams to integrate security measures into the overall IT architecture.\nParticipate in project work and perform security specific project tasks related to MS365\/O365 and MS Azure environments.\n\n
Risk Assessment\n\nConduct risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.\nProvide recommendations for risk mitigation and risk management strategies.\n\n
Security Policies and Procedures\n\nDevelop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.\n\n
Security Technology Evaluation\n\nResearch and evaluate emerging security technologies to stay abreast of industry trends.\nMake recommendations for the adoption of new security technologies based on their effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.\n\n
Incident Response and Management\n\nDevelop and maintain incident response plans.\nLead or participate in the investigation and resolution of security incidents.\n\n
Security Awareness and Training\n\nProvide guidance and training to employees on security best practices.\nFoster a culture of security awareness within the organization.\n\n
Collaboration and Communication\n\nWork closely with IT teams, management, and other stakeholders to communicate security risks and solutions effectively.\nParticipate in cross-functional teams to address security-related issues.\nCoordinate with Infrastructure teams to review and approve design and installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and related network devices.\nProvide IT leadership with financial information as it relates to budget planning for security solutions.\n\n
Documentation\n\nMaintain comprehensive documentation of security architectures, policies, and procedures.\nEnsure that documentation is kept up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.\n\n
Additional Functions, Duties & Accountabilities:\n\nServe as a member of the Information Technology team and support others as necessary.\nAct as a mentor and train users in implementing and supporting security solutions.\nMaintain flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs.\nActively and positively contribute to the overall success of the company through regular contributions to the general management of the company.\nParticipate and provide leadership in inter-departmental meetings, projects and informal activities.\nSupport the company and other departments wherever and whenever your skills and experience would be beneficial.\n\n
Educational Requirements:\n\nBachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.\n\n
Required Experience and Skills:\n\n7+ years of experience in information security with a focus on architecture.\nIndustry-recognized certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) are preferred.\nIn-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nProven success in effectively managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable digital technology solutions.\nExperience managing concurrent projects; adeptness in prioritization and resource allocation amid evolving conditions.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.\n\n
Travel:\n\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally when required, approximately < 10%.\n\n
