Sector IT Associate Specialist
Overview This role will own the delivery of data services to the Canadian business.The is a highly technical role that must grasp all aspects of data collection, transformation, security and governance to set the architecture framework to which all analytical products will be built.This lead will oversee the delivery of data product via the management and collaboration with onsite and offshore resources.In some situations, play the role of a developer or tester to ensure agile delivery. Leads local and offshore development of data products: Leverage agile practices to partner with analytics team to design, develop, test and deliver the required architecture runway. Oversee a team of developers: Ensure standards for development, testing, security and supportability are incorporated into all delivered solutions. Oversee a sustain team for innovation products that do not fall within our current managed service contract. Improves operational stability, includes ensuring S&T Ops and vendors exceed SLAs and acting as the prime escalation contact for the business. Oversee operational costs, includes monitoring, performance tuning and environment optimization to maintain flat operational costs. Stays up to date on industry trends in business and technology, testing out PepsiCo approved data applications such as metadata management, ETL tools and data mining applications. Qualifications Strong technical knowledge specifically in cloud-based data platforms and ETL tools (such as Informatica or Databricks) Ability to lead dynamic teams working on numerous SCRUM projects in parallel Excellent collaboration and communication skills Ability to communicate effectively to senior leaders and business partners Ability to solve problems Minimum of 8 years IT experience University degree in computer science Delivering business value on Canada SCRUM projects Establish a reusable data framework SLA achievement per agreed service catalogue Business partner satisfaction
